Join us for a free screening of the award-winning documentary "From Mambo to Hip-Hop: A South Bronx Tale. "

The film From Mambo to Hip-Hop: A South Bronx Tale debuted in the fall of 2006. It was directed and co-produced by Henry Chalfant and will be presented at the Bronx Museum to celebrate the culmination of the show Henry Chalfant: Art vs. Transit, 1977 - 1987, as well as the beginning of José Parlá: It’s Yours (on view at the Bronx Museum from February 26, 2020 to August 16, 2020).

The screening will be followed by a panel discussion with Henry Chalfant, Bobby Sanabria, Elena Martinez, Suso 33, Crazy Legs, and José Parlá.
